High Time For High Tea
June 7, 2012 in Lifestyle
High Tea has exploded in popularity over the past few years. It is now a fabulous way to catch up with your girlfriends or to celebrate the daytime part of a Hen’s do. Many hotels, restaurants and bars offer High Tea, but why not hold it at home? You can theme it any way you like, get dressed up and enjoy some quality time with your besties…just like Nikki from Styling You did to kick off her month-long birthday celebrations (now THAT idea we like!!).
Here are some gorgeous High Tea accessories to get you in the mood for a cupcake and cup of tea…
Afternoon Tea Tpot in Yellow ($35.00)
The Vintage Tea Party Book ($35.00)
White Peony Teacup & Saucer ($30.00)
T2 not only stock the most amazing array of teas – every type you could possibly imagine – but they also sell beautiful teacups, teapots and tea accessories. I’m loving the vibrant yellow of this teapot and the stunning blue and white combination of the Peony teacup and saucer.
Ashdene ‘Magnolia Blue’ Teapot ($33.00)
Wilton ‘Cupcakes ‘n’ More’ Dessert Stand ($19.00)
Limoges Porcelain ‘Legle Parma’ Platinum Teacup & Saucer ($122.00)
Peter’s of Kensington is one amazing department store and boy, did I have trouble picking just 3 items for this post!! If you are feeling decadent, why not select the Limoges teacup which features platinum – yes, platinum!! That’s one fancy cup of tea…
Bright Morning Set of 4 Teacups ($128.00)
Simmering Poppies Apron ($38.00)
Nifty Napkins Set of 6 ($32.00)
Anthropologie is like that amazing little shop tucked away in a suburban street which houses the most divine collection of items. It’s a gem of a store. The Bright Morning set of teacups is by Australian artist Samantha Robinson.
Want to give your gracious host a gift? MOR has the perfect gift idea…
MOR Marshmallow Scented Candle ($59.95)
Remember, champagne is optional…but highly recommended!!
