They are the sneakers rocked by multiple celebrities including Miranda Kerr, Alicia Keys, Anne Hathaway and Kate Bosworth. The Isabel Marant sneaker with the hidden wedge (which I think it the most genius idea!).

Unfortunately for us mere mortals, they do come with a hefty price tag attached.

I tell you what – eBay is a magical place! There isn’t much you can’t buy there. These aren’t far off from the original sneakers in appearance but are way friendlier to your credit card!

$50-$150

Height and Seek Wedge from Modcloth (87.99)

This Modcloth pair are a personal favourite as there are no laces and I like the black, grey and white combo. I can see these making an appearance at future park play dates!

Over $150

Ash Bowie Colourblock Wedge Trainer from ASOS ($287.38)

I love how sleek this pair is and if you have the cash to splash… well, these would be my pick! If you still don’t think you have found your perfect pair, have a browse through ASOS, they stock about a dozen similar styles in various colours.

I know these sneakers usually get one of two reactions – you either love ‘em or you don’t.
